Kristen, hailing from Piper, Kansas, started her college career on a volleyball scholarship at KCKCC. She later traded in her volleyball shoes for textbooks at the University of Kansas, earning a degree in Health Information Management. After that, she spent a decade at Cerner, navigating the worlds of IT, Resource Management, and Human Resources. Along the way, she somehow squeezed in an MBA from Ottawa University because, why not?

Kristen and her husband then embarked on an expat adventure in London, visiting over 24 countries. Between indulging in new cuisines and confusing local customs, she even managed to train offices in Paris, Germany, and Dubai. After returning stateside, she transitioned to full-time “domestic engineer,” raising three kids and mastering the chaos.

When COVID hit, Kristen decided it was time for a new challenge. Dr. Boyle offered her a chance to dive into the fast-paced world of dental assisting, and she’s been loving every moment since—well, at least the ones without drills! Now, she’s thriving in a role that combines her passion for learning with a newfound love for patients and coworkers.

Jen grew up in Lansing, Kansas, attending schools K-12 in the Lansing School District throughout her childhood. After graduating from high school, she enrolled at JCCC with aspirations of becoming a nurse. She met her now-husband Hayden in 2014, Through his family, her career path took an unexpected turn when she accepted an opportunity to become a dental assistant, a role she quickly grew to love and has never looked back from.

In 2017, Jen and Hayden moved to Colorado, where they began building their life together. They got married on a gorgeous mountain side in 2020, a perfect reflection of their adventurous spirit. During their time in Colorado, Jen worked for the same dentist for four years, expanding her skills and growing in her role far beyond what she initially expected.

Hayden’s job led them to live in various states, including New Mexico and Florida, before eventually bringing them back to Kansas. Now back in their home state, they are happy to share their lives with their families and their beautiful 2 year-old daughter, Aspen.

In her free time, her family enjoys camping, going to the lake, winter sports in Colorado, and hanging out with their beloved pets of almost 10 years: a dog named Tucker and a cat named Nala. Fall and Winter are her favorite seasons, as she cherishes the true happiness the holiday season bring and loves the weather.

In 2023, through destiny, she met Dr. Boyle, and together they have been making patients feel comfortable and smile ever since. Jen’s passion for being a dental assistant stems from her deep desire to care for others. She loves helping people achieve the healthy, beautiful smiles they deserve, and finds great joy when those transformations are life-changing.

Andrea is a spirited adventurer who thrives in the great outdoors, especially when rock climbing. With her trusty basset hound, Penny, by her side, she embraces the thrill of conquering new heights. When she’s not scaling cliffs, Andrea indulges her creative side by baking delicious treats and crafting intricate car model kits. Passionate about her project car, she spends hours tinkering and improving it. Always eager to try new things, Andrea embodies a fearless spirit, making every moment an exciting adventure filled with laughter and discovery.

Hey there! I’m Abbie, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend over eight years working as a Dental Assistant in Texas, Iowa, and now the Kansas City area.

When I’m not at the office, I’m busy at home with my husband Beau, our two lively kids Luke and Avery, and our two adorable dogs, Oakley and Murphy. We love going on adventures together—whether it’s floating down rivers, camping under the stars, or enjoying a leisurely walk, we are always looking for a good time.

I’m a huge fan of reading, and I’m always on the lookout for the next great book to dive into. I also have a soft spot for Mexican food (who doesn’t love tacos?), and I’m never far from a Coke Zero. Making people laugh is one of my favorite things, whether it’s with my co-workers or our wonderful patients.

The best part of my job? Hands down, it’s making sure that every patient feels comfortable and leaves with a big, happy smile. I love knowing that my work helps brighten someone’s day—and, of course, sharing a few laughs along the way.

Hi, my name is Kathryn, but everyone calls me Kat! I’ve been in the dental industry for 6 years. I love helping patients with all their scheduling and insurance needs. I’ve been married to my husband for 19 years. We have 2 boys that we are extremely proud of. I also have 2 dogs – Topper and Ziggy and 2 cats – Lilly and Luna. My family is my WORLD. When I’m not checking your dental benefits, I enjoy time with my family and friends whether that be camping, concerts, cheering on the Chiefs and Royals or spending time at the lake.

Hello! My name is Michelle. I work the front desk at Dr. Boyle’s amazing dental practice. I am the first person who will smile and greet you when you arrive to the office. I have been working with Dr. Boyle since the beginning. I was her dental assistant back in 2014 at her first office. I have two adult children-one is Dr. Boyle’s nephew-age 21 and my daughter, age 25. I also have a fur baby. Her name is Zoe and she is a Yorkie. She is energetic and sassy just like her “mom”. I LOVE warm weather, anything water related, concerts, KC sports, and tailgating. I am also a Swiftie! Go Taylor’s boyfriend 🫶

Mandy has been with Dr Boyle since 2011. She started as her Assistant and moved up to Office Coordinator. She has always enjoyed her continued relationships with patients as the practice grows. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, spending quality time with her son and family, concerts, spending time at the lake and occasionally crafting creative projects. At home, she is always surrounded by love from her two pups, Roxy and Stella.

Savannah has been in the dental field for three years as an insurance coordinator. She enjoys working with patients to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the complex world of insurance. She is an avid animal lover and has her own personal zoo at home with her four cats! She also loves feeding feral cats and wildlife (raccoons are her personal favorite). When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking or doing yoga in the sunshine, spending times with her friends and family, along with going on spontaneous road trips.

Dr. David Beck graduated from the UMKC SOD in 2011 and has been in private practice ever since. He has been working with Dr. Boyle since 2012, and continues to do so part time. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, going for the occasional run, or reading a book.

Dr. Boyle was born and raised in Piper, Kansas. Her mom told her she should be a dentist because she had a big, beautiful smile; so that’s exactly what she did! She graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2004. She opened her Lenexa dental practice that same year and is proud of its reputation as a trustworthy, conservative, and friendly office. She attributes her success to all her smart, ambitions and awesome employees.

Dr. Boyle not only loves teeth, she loves her dashing husband too!. They have 3 teenage children who they greatly adore.

Dr. Boyle loves to spend her free time outside enjoying nature. She enjoys meeting new people and hanging with friends. She likes to cook but needs to get much better at it if she is to ever share some of it with her family. She always reading a book or listening to an audible and never skips a day without getting in 10,000 steps and a 3 minute plank.

Dr. Mary Augustyn is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist with over 12 years of experience in general dentistry. A graduate of UMKC School of Dentistry, Dr. Augustyn is committed to providing exceptional and gentle dental care. Known for a patient-centered approach, Dr. Augustyn ensures a comfortable and personalized experience for every patient. Specializing in preventive care and restorative treatments, Dr. Augustyn is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal oral health and confident smiles.

Outside of work, Dr. Augustyn enjoys spending time with family.

Dr. Prose, a Michigan native, earned her DDS from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2015 and completed a residency in Advanced Education General Dentistry. She served as a dentist in the Army through the Health Professions Scholarship, which took her on a whirlwind journey through five states and two countries before she finally settled in Kansas City. With extensive experience in surgical dentistry and implants, she’s truly a “superhero of smiles.”

When she’s not crafting perfect grins, Dr. Prose enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. A home renovation enthusiast with a talent for interior design, she’s often called upon by friends to work her magic. If she can design dream homes, imagine what she can do for your smile!
