Tooth whitening is a quick, safe, and effective way to brighten your smile.

Custom Whitening Trays:  After ensuring your mouth is healthy with an oral examination, impressions of your teeth are taken and your trays are fabricated to fit your upper and lower arches.  We provide detailed instructions for application of the whitening gel, and you’ll be on your way to a brighter whiter smile!  You can whiten your teeth at your convenience to attain your desired shade.  This is an effective, long-lasting treatment, and your trays can be used for years to come if you desire a “touch-up.”  

Professional Whitening Strips:  Ideal for younger patients and those patients that don’t want the custom trays, we offer prescription strength whitening strips that are only sold in dental offices.  They are three times more effective than over the counter strips, but just as easy to use.  

Whitening may cause tooth sensitivity for some patients.  This will dissipate after you’ve reached your desired shade and you stop whitening.  Using an anti-sensitivity toothpaste prior to and during the process can help.  In-office fluoride treatments and fluoride rinses have also proven helpful to relieve sensitivity for some patients.   We do not recommend whitening for children under 13 years of age, or for patients that are pregnant or lactating.  And keep in mind that your personal habits can affect your results.  Patients that smoke or drink dark liquids frequently may need to touch up more often.
